Dr. Kevin CarsonKevin has served as the superintendent of the Sussex County Vocational Technical School District since August 2020. In addition, Kevin served as superintendent of the Woodbridge, Cape Henlopen, and Seaford school districts during his thirty plus year career. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wesley College in business administration, his master’s degree in personnel management from Central Michigan University, and his Doctorate of Education in Vocational Education from Temple University. Kevin is a senior fellow with the University of Delaware Institute for Public Administration.
During Kevin’s tenure as superintendent of the Sussex County Vocational Technical School District, the district was approved for and initiated design work on a new Sussex Technical High School. Additionally, was part of the team that brought a United States Coast Guard JROTC program to Sussex Tech. Kevin is very active in professional and community organizations. He is the past president of the Delaware Chief School Officers Association, was a member of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association for three years, has been an active member of the Delaware Association of School Administrators since 1988, and is a member of the Bridgeville Kiwanis Club. Kevin currently resides in Lewes with his wife, Terry; they have five children and seven grandchildren. |
